By downloading or using Arise (“the app”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Arise for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the applicable app store’s terms.
Arise is a convenience tool, not a guaranteed or safety-critical alarm system. Alarm delivery depends on your device, its operating system, and its settings — including battery-optimization/“deep sleep” settings, Do Not Disturb/Focus modes, volume, notification permissions, storage, and whether the app or device has been force-closed, restarted, or is offline. Some devices (especially certain Android manufacturers) aggressively restrict background apps, which can delay or prevent alarms.
Do not rely on Arise alone where a missed alarm could cause harm, loss, or danger — for example medication, medical needs, critical travel, work, or any safety-sensitive activity. Always keep an independent backup alarm for anything important. You use Arise’s alarms at your own risk.
You agree not to misuse the app, reverse-engineer it (except where permitted by law), bypass premium restrictions, or use it unlawfully.
You are responsible for your account and device. You can delete your account and data in Settings → Account & Data.
Arise is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, or that alarms will always fire.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arcanum World is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from a missed, delayed, or failed alarm or notification, loss of data, or inability to use the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
The app relies on third-party services (Apple, Google/Firebase, RevenueCat, and others), whose terms and availability are outside our control.
We may update the app and these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the app; continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [India / your jurisdiction], subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
